These beautiful mugs were made by the talented potter Scott Scholze. On this rainy April day, they would be wonderful filled with chili or soup. :)  Once it warms up a bit Scott, I will do some more shots outside...

Eight

April 4th was Melanie's eighth birthday. So hard to believe she will be wrapping up second grade soon. She started the day with her favorite muffins (chocolate chip, of course) and was excited to go to school. In the evening, before we left to go out to dinner, Grace curled her hair and she agreed to spin around on the deck for me a few times so I could get some pictures. When we got home, she spent time finishing a writing project for school...it was a good day. We are so thankful she is our girl!
